Frolicking in Firenze

Bonjourno, from Italia! For the past two weeks, Erika & I have been studying abroad in Florence Italy! We're only a block from the river with a perfect view of the Ponte Vecchio.  After finally beginning to figure out our whereabouts around the city, we have been able to go on some weekend adventures.  Our first weekend, we traveled to Tuscany, where we went to two different vineyards and learned about the different wine productions (Montepulciano, where Twilight was filmed... oh, and the cheese was amazing) and Cinque Terre (look it up, it's beautiful!) where we hiked across the mountains for approximately two hours (not realizing it would take so long) from one city to another... but we were finally able to lay on the beach!  This past weekend, we spent two days in Venice, where it was practically monsooning when we arrived!  But it turned out to be a beautiful couple of days.  With 4 weeks left, we have a lot of exciting weekends planned, such as Rome and the Almafi Coast, and so much more to do! Have I mentioned the gelato?  I have to say it's a good thing we end up walking up almost ten miles a day because the gelato is irresistible (Nocciola, Hazelnut, can't stop, won't stop!)  Luckily we have a few sisters here abroad with us, keeping Chi Omega always close.  We miss all of our sisters that are back in the States or somewhere else studying and we are so excited to come back for a great senior year!

Summertime is finally here

It's finally summer, and after a long and exciting school year, we have all taken our separate ways to explore, learn, and travel over the next three months.  While we are counting down the days until we are all reunited at Chi O Sisters Week in August, there are many incredible adventures and experiences to be had in the mean time! Keep up with our blog to see the latest stories and travel tales of our sisters all around the world, from Gainesville to California all the way to Europe and South America! XOXO
